ASTURIAS 2019
On 22nd May, 4 ESO and 3 ESO went on an end-of-year trip to a shelter in the mountains in Asturias: “Los Avellanos”, in Riofabar.
After a couple of hours of travelling, we reached the first activity: the descent of the river Sella. This activity was a lot of fun and we got wet and bathed for a while. After lunch, we went caving to a small cave near Arriondas.
When we finished these activities, we went to the shelter, where they told us the rules and we went to our rooms to make our beds; then, they left us free time.
The second day, we did a hilarious gymkhana in which we played in teams. Later, we did “Humor Amarillo” (similar to “Wipe Out”). In the afternoon, we had an orienteering race and returned to the shelter because it began to rain.
The last day, we covered a beautiful 13 kilometres route and after having lunch, we got on the bus to visit a cheese factory where we tasted several dairy products. When we finished the visit, they gave us some delicious gifts and we returned to Astillero.
